COVID-19 Precautions

COVID-19 Safety Measures at Gentle Dental of Alpharetta

At Gentle Dental of Alpharetta, your health and safety have always been our top priority. As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely, we remain committed to protecting the well-being of our patients, staff, and community.

Ongoing Infection Control Protocols

Our clinic follows strict sterilization and infection control procedures every day, including:

  • Use of medical-grade disinfectants

  • Sterile equipment and workspaces

  • Staff wearing masks, gloves, and protective eyewear

  • Continuous sanitization of treatment areas and common surfaces

Our safety standards meet or exceed current public health guidelines, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all.

Additional COVID-19 Safety Measures

To help minimize risk and maintain a healthy clinic, we are implementing the following additional precautions:

  • Patient Health Screening: All patients are screened upon arrival, including a temperature check.

  • Staff Monitoring: Any team member showing signs of illness is required to stay home. No staff have recently traveled internationally.

  • Travel & Symptom Awareness:

    • If you’ve traveled outside the country, please inform our team when scheduling. Non-urgent appointments will be postponed for at least 2 weeks.

    • If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath), we kindly ask that you reschedule your visit for a later date.

  • Minimizing Exposure in the Office:

    • We ask that anyone accompanying a patient who is feeling unwell wait outside the office.

    • Magazines and toys have been temporarily removed from the waiting area.

    • Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance—please use it when entering and exiting.

  • Contact-Free Greetings: While we love warm welcomes, we encourage a smile or a nod instead of a handshake during this time.

Your Role in Community Health

Please remember:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Avoid touching your face, especially your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Together, with common sense and CDC-recommended practices, we can keep our dental office a safe space for all.

We will continue to follow public health updates and adjust our procedures as needed. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued trust.

Stay safe,
Gentle Dental of Alpharetta
